Old Man McDonnell, the ELF

I am ancient, most likely the reason why I appear to you as old and rough, I have no idea how old I am, stopped counting at age 500 or less. I'm a miner and protect the gems in the world,

My great, great grandfather lived in Greece; he mined in the volcanoes and helped the great Greek God, Hephaestus; some good stories there! My great grandfather traveled around Europe and worked in the salt mines. He found no gold there. My grandfather after him went to live in Iceland, the Nordic Lands, and helped Sindri in his mines. He got plenty of jewels. So Clyde, my father, went to Ireland with treasures enough for a family. Married my mother, Princess Nola after an adventure...or two. She became the Queen. I am her last son, the youngest, and always a bit of trouble for my parents and siblings and most embarrassing to myself. My parents said, “McDonnell, time for you to go out into the realms and create your life..."
